Our staff is made up of only highly trained, experienced clinicians. All clinicians are licensed professionals and all maintain more than the required number of continuing education requirements.


Vivian H. Topp, M.Ed., CCC-SLP
Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist
Vivian H. Topp, M. Ed., CCC-SLP, is the Director of AMBI-LINGUAL ASSOCIATES, INC. Ms. Topp is a pioneer in the provision of speech and language pathology services to Hispanic individuals in Miami founded. She founded this practice in 1978 after completing her studies in Speech and Hearing Science at the University of Georgia and the University of Miami. Professional experiences have included clinical supervision at the University of Miami, Nova University, Florida International University, Florida State University and Florida Atlantic University. Ms. Topp has also provided consultative services to Miami Dade County Public Schools, community hospitals and the Professional Voice Institute in Hallandale, Florida. Ms. Topp was acting clinical supervisor of speech pathology services at Mercy Hospital in Miami for 15 years, An active participant in local and state professional associations, Ms. Topp has served as Vice President and President of the MIAMI ASSOCIATION OF COMMUNICATION SPECIALISTS (MACS - 1980, 1998, 2000) and Vice President for Clinical Practices in Speech Pathology of the FLORIDA SPEECH LANGUAGE HEARING ASSOCIATION (FLASHA - 2000-2003). In 1989, Ms. Topp was the proud recipient of the MACS Honors of the Association.

    Victoria (Vicky) Topp, M.A., CCC-SLP
    Bilingual Speech- Language Pathologist
    Vicky was born in Havana, Cuba and came to the United States with her family when she was 2.5 months old. She is fluent in English/Spanish. Vicky graduated from "THE" University of Florida (her husband and sister may argue on the "THE" part) with a Bachelor's in 1982 and received her Master's degree at Michigan State University in 1984. ASHA certification was received in 1986 while working in North Carolina with various patient populations. Vicky worked in the capacity of Assistant Clinic Director for the last 2 years of employment in N. C. She moved 'back home' to Miami, Florida in 1992, obtained reciprocity for licensure and has been working with Ambi-Lingual Associates ever since, in the capacity of co-owner and Clinical Director. Vicky is certified to dispense the SpeechEasy stuttering device. She was blessed with a little girl on 10/27/03 and twin boys on 10/12/04. When not chasing after her kids, she enjoys reading and longs to 'shop 'til she drops'!

    Vicky nacio en la Habana, Cuba. Vino a los EEUU con su familia cuando tenia 2.5 meses de edad. Habla Ingles y Espanol perfectamente. Se graduo de la Universidad de la Florida en 1982 con su titulo de Ciencias y completo la Maestria en Michigan State University en 1984. Recibio su certificacion de ASHA en 1986 mientras trabajaba en North Carolina con una populacion de desordenes del habla y lenguaje variada. Vicky fue Asistente Directora de una clinica de rehabilitacion en NC los ultimos 2 anos que vivio alla. Regreso a su 'nativo' Miami en 1992 y ha estado trabajando con Ambi Lingual desde esa fecha. Es la Diredtora de la Clinica en Ambi- Lingual y es la hermana de Vivian. Vicky tiene tres niños pequenos. Cuando no esta corriendo detras de ellos, quisiera estar de compras!





    Mildrey Aguila
    B.B., SLPA


    Mildrey came from Cuba in 1998. She graduated in special education specializing in speech pathology from the Instituto Superior Pedagogico Enrique Jose Varona in Habana Cuba in 1989, and the Instituto Superior Pedagogico ¡§Felix Varela¡¨ en Santa Clara in 1990.
    She worked as a speech pathologist in centers, hospitals and speech-language schools especially in the Centro de Diagnostico y Orientacion (CDO) in Saneti-Spiritus a province in Cuba for 8 years. At Ambi-Lingual Assoc., her first job in this country, she works with children that have speech disorders, articulation autism and stuttering. In her free times, she likes to go to the beach and relax.

    Mildrey vino de Cuba en el a„ro 1998. Se graduo de Defectologia, especialidad logopedia en el Insituto Superior Pedagogico ¡§Enrique Jose Varona¡¨ en la Habana en el año 1989, Instituto Superior Pedagogico ¡§Felix Varelo¡¨ en Santa Clara (1990). Trabajo como terapista del lenguaje en varios centros, hospitales, escuelas del lenguaje en especial en el Centro de Diagnositco y Orientacion (CDO) de la provincia de Saneti-Spiritus en Cuba por 8 años. Esta trabajando actualmete en Ambi-Lingual la que le abrio las puertas en este pais, con ni„ros que tienen desordenes del lenguaje, articulacion, autismo y tartamudez. En sus tiempo libre le gusta ir a la playa.





    Kay Bauer, OTR/L
    Occupational Therapist
    Kay D. Bauer OTR/L.is the Director of Allied Therapy Associates Inc., a private occupational therapy practice in Hialeah, Florida established in 1990. Allied is an affiliate of Ambi-Lingual Associates and is housed in the same offices. Kay graduated from Florida International University in 1984 completing in her studies in Occupational therapy. She was a supervisor at Mt. Sinai Medical Center. Presently, Allied Therapy provides consultative services to community hospitals, pre-schools and The Center for Precious Minds in Boca Raton, Florida. Kay provides clinical supervision for field work to students from Nova, Florida International and Barry Universities. She received her certification in the administration and interpretation of the Senrory Integration and Praxis test in 1990. Kay is the proud mother of a 9 year old Kung-Fu black belt!

    Kay D. Bauer OTR/L Certificada SIPT, es la directora de Allied Therapy Associates Inc., clinica privada para servicios de terapia ocupacional en Hialeah, Florida establecida en 1990. Allied es una compañia asociada con Ambi-Lingual Associates y comparte sus oficinas. Kay se graduo de la Universidad Internacional de la Florida en 1984 completando sus estudios en terapia ocupacional. Superviso' en Mt. Sinai Medical Center. Allied presta servicios de consulta en hospitales comunitarios, centros pre-escolares y The Center for Precious Minds en Boca Raton, Florida. Kay brinda supervision clinica para los estudiantes de Nova, la Univerdidad Internacional de la Florida y Barry Univeristy. Ella recibio su certificacion en administracion e interpretacion del Examen de Integracion Sensorial y Praxis en 1990. Kay es la orgullosa madre de un "cinto negro" en Kung-Fu de 9 años.





    Jenny Pinto
    Office Manager
    Jenny Pinto has been the office manager at Ambi-Lingual Assoc., Inc., since _____. A.S. Degree in Business Administration in 1992. Jenny's business talents keep the scheduling of clients and coordination of speech and occupational therapy visits running smoothly. She is also responsible for the coordination of team meetings that include delicious lunches!






    Urzula Di Carlo
    Billing Supervisor
    Urzula joined Ambi-Lingual Assoc., Inc. in 2003. Since then she earned an A.A. Degree in Interior Design (2006) from MDC. Urzula is 'technologically gifted' and assists with computer programming and electronic equipment used in treatments. She put her interior design degree to work when Ambi-Lingual remodeled its offices in 2006.
